ipchu.com provides IP address lookup, geolocation, VPN detection, and related network information tools. The Service is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use, subject to the limits below.

2. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. IP geolocation and VPN detection are heuristic in nature and may not be 100% accurate. Do not rely solely on this Service for legal, compliance, security, or critical business decisions.

3. API usage

ipchu.com exposes a free, unauthenticated JSON API (documented at /api-docs). You may use this API in your own projects under the following conditions:

Do not exceed 60 requests per minute per IP address.
Do not use the API to build a competing IP lookup service that proxies our data.
Do not scrape the API at scale or attempt to download our entire dataset.
Attribute the source as ipchu.com in user-facing products.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Harass, stalk, or identify private individuals without their consent.
Attempt to de-anonymise users or correlate IP addresses with personal identities at scale.
Circumvent any technical measures that limit access to the Service.
Violate any applicable local, national, or international law.

5. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime. The Service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or events outside our control. We are not liable for any losses arising from downtime.

6. Third-party content

The Service may link to or embed third-party services (VPN providers, etc.) via affiliate or referral links. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of third-party sites.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ipchu.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
