Is my IP address blacklisted?
This page checks your public IP, 216.73.216.64, against major DNS-based blackhole lists (DNSBLs) — databases of IP addresses reported for sending spam, hosting malware, or other abusive traffic. Many email servers and firewalls consult these lists to decide whether to accept connections or mail from an address.
What does a "listed" result mean?
If your IP shows as listed on one or more blacklists, mail sent from that address may be rejected or marked as spam, and some services may block connections from it. This is common on:
- Shared / dynamic IPs: a previous user of the same address may have caused the listing.
- Residential and mobile networks: some lists block entire ranges used for sending bulk mail.
- Compromised devices: malware on a device behind your IP can trigger a listing.
One listing isn't usually critical. Being on a single low-impact list rarely
affects normal browsing. Being on multiple major lists (especially Spamhaus ZEN) is more
likely to cause real delivery problems.
How do I get delisted?
Each operator runs its own delisting process — search "[list name] delisting" (e.g. "Spamhaus ZEN delisting") for the official form. Fix the underlying cause first (secure an open relay, clean an infected device, or contact your ISP if the IP was pre-listed) before requesting removal.
